Competitions on “Vallalar”
On behalf of the department of Collegiate Education, Arignar Anna Government Arts College, Namakkal, conducted a district level elocution, essay writing, drawing and song recitation competitions on 19.01.2026 at the college premises.
The main aim of the programme, students know the Principles of Vallalar (Saint Ramalinga Adigalar, Vadalur, Cuddalore District).
Many students from various colleges in and around Namakkal District took part. In this subject, Ms. R. Ramya Sri, Second Year B.Sc., Computer Science got the first prize in the essay writing competition and Ms. S. Kaviya, Third Year B.Sc., Computer Science obtained the second prize in drawing competition and Ms. V. Monisha, first year M.Sc., Mathematics secured the second prize in the essay writing competitions.
