In India, silk production is one of the oldest and, till now, most profitable businesses. From the 15th century onwards, Indians have been producing silk. India is the second-largest producer of silk in the world after China. There is no need for big places to produce silk. There are plenty of silk markets available in our country for the benefit of silk manufacturers. I think so. The majority of students’ backgrounds are agrarian. The Government of Tamil Nadu has given more financial assistance to silk manufacturers; they have to utilize it, Dr. N. Dhahira Beevi denoted.

To encourage farmers to do entrepreneurship in sericulture, create new entrepreneurs in sericulture, produce silk products to international standards, and achieve self-reliance in this sector are the objectives of the department of sericulture. Mr. A. Palnisamy spoke. Also, they highlighted the various government subsidiaries to the farmers through the Department of Sericulture as well as the financial institutions in Tamil Nadu.

The Assistant Inspectors of Sericulture, Mr.T. Shanthi and Mrs. A. Sofia Begam, and the Junior Inspectors of Sericulture, Mr.R. Jayalakshmi, Mrs. V. Sathya, and Mrs. S. Amutha, were also present.
