Awareness Programme on The Sexual Harassment of Women in the workplace
On behalf of the Anti-Ragging and Sexual Harassment Cell, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal conducted a one-day awareness programme entitled “The Sexual Harassment of Women in the workplace” on …27.04.2023…(Thursday ) @ 10 AM The basic objective to execute this workshop is to educate the girl students and women faculty about the provisions of the Act for their empowerment.
Dr. T.K. Anuradha, Assistant Professor and Head, Post-Graduate Research Department of Tamil, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal was the resource person. She highlighted the various provisions of “prevention of sexual harassment of women in the workplace”. Additionally, she indicated that we all should realise the significance of generating awareness of welfare and protection services intended for women in India.
Dr M. Sasikala, AP & HOD of Commerce, Dr. A. Latha, AP in Tamil and also 100 students of various departments benefited through that programme.
