Observation of world wild life week
Because of the celebration of World Wild Life Week (October 2–8), the district forest office conducted a district-level speech, essay writing, and drawing competition on October 11, 2023, on the premises of Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Mohanur Road, Namakkal.

On behalf of the Eco Green Club, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, the coordinators, Mrs. G. Kannagi and Mrs.V. Indirakumari, have emboldened the students to participate in those above-mentioned competitions at the venue of Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Namakkal South. In continuation, a felicitation function was held on October 30, 2023, in the premises of Hotel Nala, Trichy Road, Namakkal.

Rajeshkumar, Member of Parliament in Rajya Sabha; Mr. Manish Meena, Assistant Mission Director, Tamil Nadu Climate Change Mission; The Department of Environment, Climate Change, and Forests, Government of Tamil Nadu; and Mrs. S. Uma, District Collector of Namakkal, also spoke on that occasion. All the special invitees are conveyed their greetings to Ms. M. Sandhiya and Ms. S. Soniya for their achievement.
