Nehru Centre for Women Excellence, Nehru Arts and Science College (Autonomous), Thirumalaiyampalayam, Coimbatore, is given an award in the name of “Nehru Women Excellence Award” every year. Owing to International Women’s Day (March 8, 2024), this award is given to women achievers.
In this regard, for the academic year 2023-2024, this award ceremony function was held on March 11, 2024, on the college campus.
Dr. M. Sasikala, Assistant Professor and Head, Postgraduate and Research Department of Commerce, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal & Senate Member, Periyar University, Salem, has obtained the award of “Women of Excellence” in the field of social work for the category top in the class for her immense contributions to society.
This award was given by Dr. P. Krishnakumar, Chief Executive Officer and Secretary, Nehru Group of Educational Institutions, Tamil Nadu and Kerala; Dr. B. Anirudhan, Principal, Nehru Arts and Science College (Autonomous), Thirumalaiyampalayam, Coimbatore; and Dr. M.
