On account of the Vaikkam struggle centenary celebrations, the postgraduate and research department of Tamil, along with the “Equal Opportunity Cell” at Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, conducted an essay writing competition titled ‘Periyar and Feminism” recently. Ms. S. Ratchana, second-year M.A., Tamil, has secured first place, and Ms. B. Bharathi, third-year B.A., Tamil, has obtained second place in that competition.
In this continuation, a felicitation function was held on February 23, 2024, on the campus of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal. Er. K. Nallusamy, Chairman, presided over the function, and he presented the prizes to the above-mentioned achievers. Er. S. Selvaraj, Secretary; Mrs. Aruna Selvaraj, Executive Director; Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal; Dr. Arasuparameswaran, Director-Academic; Dr. R. Savithri, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of UG Tamil; and Dr. R.A. Anitha, Coordinator of the Equal Opportunity Cell, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, also took part.
