Environmental Awareness Programme for middle school students
On behalf of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal conducted an awareness programme for the benefit of school students on 31.03.2023. Under the scheme of “Clean India Mission” – (Swachh Bharat Abhiyan – தூய்மை இந்தியா திட்டம் )“, this event was held for the sake of middle school students of Parali, Mohanur Taluk, Namakkal district.
Dr.A. Latha, Representative of UBA adopted village of Parali / Assistant Professor in Tamil, Trinity College for Women delivered the topic in the heading of “Why public toilet is very necessary for our environment?” (“ஏன் பொதுக்கழிவறை நமது சுற்றுப்புற சூழலுக்கு மிகவும் தேவையாயிருக்கிறது?”).
Public toilet is helpful for not only human beings but also for the development of this society. We must keep our environment. If we safeguard our environment, diseases will not come, she said about the importance of usage of public toilets.

Mrs. R. Navamani, Mrs. S. Priya and Mrs. D. Prabha -Representatives of UBA Adopted villages of Pettapalayam, Aniyapuram and Tholur respectively also pointed out the importance of public and individual house lavatory for protection of our surroundings.
