Alumni Interaction Programme with the Student of Mathematics
The Alumni Forum, in association with the department of mathematics at Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, conducted an alumni event entitled “Back and Forth Programme with an Alumni” on October 9, 2023, on the college campus.
Ms. K. RANJANI (Alumni, B.Sc., Mathematics, 2015–2018 and M.Sc., Mathematics, 2018–2020), Faculty of Mathematics, Government Arts and Science College, Sendamangalam, Thethukkadu, Vettukkadu Post, Kalappanaickenpatti, 637 404, Sendamangalam Taluk, Namakkal District was the special invitee.
There is a great demand for graduates of mathematics. Unfortunately, for the past four years, the enrollment of students in mathematics courses has decreased. It is a matter of concern. Mathematics is the queen of science. High-paying jobs are waiting for students who have studied mathematics courses, she said.

The faculty of mathematics, Mrs. B. Lena, Dr. S. Jeyanthi, Mrs. P. Karthikeyani, Mrs. M. Nandhini, Mrs. A. Thenmozhi, and Dr. S. Revathy, also took part. More than 100 students in B.Sc. and M.Sc. mathematics participated.
