The District Administration of Namakkal & Department of Food Safety, Namakkal jointly organized a one day event entitled “Colossal food mela festival in our Namakkal” (நம்ம நாமக்கல்லில் மாபெரும் உணவு திருவிழா) on 13.08.2022 in the premises of Coastal Residency, Tiruchengode Road, Namakkal.
Various events like Variety programme, elocution competition, debate, multi-flavoured cooking & yoga were held on that occasion.
The following students of Costume Design & Fashion Design and Nutrition & Dietetics actively participated in those competitions. In addition, an awareness programme on hiking of food safety was held from the campus of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Namakkal to Hotel Coastal Residency, Namakkal.
