Awareness Programme on “Disaster Management”
The Youth Red Cross, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, organised a disaster management training programme on October 27, 2023, on the college campus.
.Mrs. L. Deepika, Assistant Professor in English, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, delivered the topic entitled “Why disaster management is important?”. She spoke about how to handle natural disasters like fires, floods, earthquakes, and tsunamis, as well as man-made ones, including road accidents and chemical hazards.
More or less, 100 students benefited from this programme. Mrs. V. Kalaivani, Programme Officer, Youth Red Cross, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal made arrangements.
