Celebration of Diwali Festival

Diwali   Festival was celebrated in the campus of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal on 2nd November 2021 with full zeal and fervor.    Mr P.K. Sengodan, Chairman of the College presided over the function.   In his speech said, Diwali is a festival of lights and togetherness.   It is the festival of unity without any caste or creed.  We want to celebrate Diwali in such a way that it will instigate to spread love and peace in the society.    

Er. K. Nallusamy, Secretary of the College, in his special address, said, Diwali is one of the most popular festivals of India.  The festival provides an opportunity to our senses to grasp their share of enjoyment and to our minds and hearts to experience the joys of life, love, belongingness and universal friendliness.         

     Dr M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal of the College welcomed the gathering. 
The  Chairman and The Secretary and the faculty members exchanged advance diwali greetings to be celebrated on 4th November 2021.  Sweets and savory were issued  to all the staff members.   
   Dr. Arasuparameswaran, Director – Academic proposed the vote of thanks.

“Entrepreneurial Carnival – Exhibition cum Sale” (Food, Textile & Cosmetics Festival 2022) on 11.02.2022 and 12.02.2022.

Exhibition cum Sale

The Departments of Costume Design and Fashion & Nutrition and Dietetics in collaboration with Periyar University Innovation Entrepreneurship Development Programme Hub (PU-IEDP HUB), Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Internal Quality Assurance Cell and Institution’s Innovation Cell of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal jointly organized a one day event in the title of “Entrepreneurial Carnival – Exhibition cum Sale” (Food, Textile & Cosmetics Festival 2022) on 11.02.2022 and 12.02.2022.    It was held in the premises of Trinity Auditorium.   All the first year undergraduate and postgraduate students of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal were exhibited dress materials, cosmetic items, food items, etc.,   

Exhibited Products

Textile Materials – Dress collections, travel bed, bed sheets, handkerchiefs, flow mat, towel, blankets, etc., 
Cosmetic Materials – Key chains, earings, bangals, wire bags, hand bags, forehead stickers, Mehandi, Etc., Bridal make up
Vegetables, Fruits and Green Leaves
Food Items –  Kuzhipaniyaram, Laddu, Cake, Ellu Urundai, Elanda Vadai, Laddu, Cake, Opputu, Beetroot Dosa, Papad, Rava Kesari, Bread Noodles, Gulob Jamun, Panipuri, Rava Laddu, Chips, Halwa, Thattu Vadai, Chocolate, Sweet corn, Pan cake, etc.,

Mr. P.K. Sengodan, Chairman of the College presided over the exhibition.   Er. K. Nallusamy, Secretary, Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, Dr. Arasuparameswaran, Director – Academic, the faculty members Dr. G. Selvalakshmi, Dr. N. Elamathi, Mrs. K. Punitha, Ms. K.P. Theepika,  Mrs. V. Archana and the faculty members of the College participated in that exhibition event.
